About Me
You can probably tell that this is one guy's personal website. Just the one. That is exactly what this site is, so let me introduce myself.
I'm anth (yes, I typically sign my name with no caps), also known as AzuSapphire, or Azu for short. I'm a 24-year-old jack of all trades, master of none. I call myself that because I've taken on a lot of interests, but I'm not particularly stellar at any of them. Said interests include computers (mostly from 1998-2012), older video game consoles (especially if said consoles and games are from Nintendo), anime, geography, nature, cars, media from the 90's, 2000's, and 2010's, and many more.
What's so Azu about the Sapphire?
Azu - I always liked how Azu sounded and looks, like in Azure and Azul. My parents are huge fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and my mom would often use the name Azula - the name of one of the antagonists - as a pseudonym.
What really got me to take on this part to my username is Azusa Nakano - a K-On! character who ended up becoming one of my favorite characters in what would become my favorite show of all time.
Sapphire - My birthday is in September, which means my birthstone is the Sapphire. Pretty simple explanation, there's not much more to it - but I suppose we can also factor in that I chose Pokémon Sapphire over Ruby.
This, however, is only one of probably over a hundred usernames I have used online.
